WHAT ARE FLEX DAYS

These are extra teacher flex days that I build into my session to allow myself sick days or other, should I need them. I use them whenever I need them. Yes, even at a moments notice. I have these days built into my calendar teaching year to allow me days off last minute should I be ill, have a family emergency, or other. *PLEASE SEE THE EXAMPLE BELOW FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION*

EXAMPLE OF HOW FLEX DAYS WORK: 

Jacob is a student who comes to group class on Thursdays.

 In that studio calendar year there happen to be 39 Thursdays in that particular teaching year(June-May) in which I am available to  teach lessons.

 (HOLIDAYS/ SCHOOL BREAKS, SCHEDULED DAYS OFF, RECITAL DASY ARE NOT INCLUDED AS THERE ARE NO SCHEDULED LESSONS). 

HOWEVER, if Jacob scrolls down to the very bottom of the calendar, he will see there are 3 days deducted off those 39. MEANING, Jacobs family is ONLY BEING CHARGED FOR 36 LESSON DAYS. 

This also allows me to take off ANY 3 days I choose to,  and Jacobs family can rest easy that they WERE NOT CHARGED FOR THOSE DAYS, as they were build into the calandar. 

 By mid May(or possibly sooner), Jacob will receive the 36 lessons that his family has been paying for in the monthly installments.
