SPECIAL NEEDS MUSIC ENRICHMENT

Throughout my teaching career over the last 30 years I’ve been so blessed to work with many special-needs children (including one of my own!). To be clear, I am NOT a certified music therapist.

I could write a book about the miracles I have seen over the years! I have had a front-row-seat to the impossible becoming possible through the healing effect of music on the brain! In addition to this, parents have been absolutely amazed at the improvement they are seeing in their children in areas such as: Motor development, emotional and mental processing and stability, academics, social skills, communication, speech development, and the list goes on!

♪  Music has a miraculous way of bridging communication gaps and reaching individuals who may not be reachable in other ways.

♪ Music helps us communicate in ways in which we are limited. Whether it be physically, mentally, or emotionally, there is a freedom of expression that occurs when music is in the room!

♪ Music is scientifically proven to stimulate ALL regions of the brain. I could tell you testimony upon testimony about the miracles I have seen over the years due to the therapeutic and healing nature of music!
