♫ Having just celebrated 30 years of teaching, I am thrilled to embark upon a new decade! So many exciting things are ahead for all of my students this new year/ session 2023-2024
In this policy you will find information about:

ATTENDANCE/ INVOICING/ PAYMENT
Students attend one group class/ or private music coaching session per week on the same day/time each week.
If the weather is too dangerous to drive in, I will teach via zoom. You will receive a text message and the zoom link.
This rate is multiplied by the number of charged lessons on your specific day of the week and then divided into equal, flat-rate monthly installments. *SEE THE STUDIO CALENDAR LINK(BELOW) ON THIS PAGE TO SEE HOW MANY CHARGED LESSON DAYS YOU HAVE. **There are 3 FLEX DAYS applied to each students schedule. more details below.
INVOICING TAKES PLACE BETWEEN THE 15th - 20th OF EACH MONTH. PAYMENTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN THE 25th OF EACH MONTH OR A LATE FEE OF $30 WILL BE ADDED. and may pay via the invoice which is serviced by the payment platform, STRIPE. If you opt to pay through the invoice, you will be charged an additional 2.9 % plus .30 cents on each invoice to cover the service fees.
You may also choose to pay by Check.
BERRY MUSIC STL IS A YEAR-ROUND STUDIO WITH ONLY ONE SESSION THAT RUNS FROM JUNE-MAY
**If you are a new families that joins mid-year, you are charged for the remaining months/weeks/charged lesson days for the remainder of the session**
**You may pay for the entire year all at once or you may pay in monthly installments.

♪ PLEASE BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL TO ALL.
♪ TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.
♫ PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN
PLEASE WATCH YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN WHILE THEY ARE WAITING QUIETLY IN THE WAITING AREA OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE LACEFIELD MUSIC EMPLOYESS AND OTHER TEACHERS WHO ARE WORKING.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN TO RUN ALL AROUND THE STORE. THEY COULD POTENTIAL HURT THEMSELVES, DAMAGE THE INSTRUMENTS ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR, OR DISTURB OTHERS.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN TO COLOR ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE COLORING BOOKS(THE PROPERTY BELONGS TO LACEFIELD MUSIC).
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN TO BANG THE TOYS AROUND LOUDLY OR WALK ON THE FURNITURE IN THE WATING AREA.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO WAIT IN YOUR CAR OR RUN ERRANDS IF IT IS DIFFICULT FOR YOUR YOUNG CHILDREN TO WAIT QUIETLY AND RESPECTFULLY IN THE WATING AREA
ILLNESS
PLEASE DO NOT WALK INTO THE BUILDING WITH SICKNESS! IT IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE MANY STUDENTS AND FAMILY OF NOT ONLY MY STUDIO, BUT TO THE EMPLOYESS AND STUDENTS/CLIENTS OF LACEFIELD MUSIC!
Please do not enter the building if ANYONE in your home has had a virus, sickness, showing symptoms, or is contagious within a 5-7 day period.
THIS INCLUDES AND IS NOT LIMITED TO COLD, FLU, STOMACH VIRUS, STREP THROAT, PINK EYE, LICE, COVID 19.
**IF ONE CHILD HAS HAD ONE OF THESE ILLNESSES AND THE OTHER MEMEBRS OF YOUR FAMILY ARE NOT SHOWING SYMPTOMS/ " Everyone feels fine", I DO NOT WANT ANYONE IN THE FAMILY WALKING INTO THE BUILDING.
I WILL TEACH YOU VIA ZOOM.
This may be very obvious but I cannot begin to tell you how many sick kids, parents, siblings come into lessons without a though in the world about how it may effect others.
PLEASE BE CURTEOUS OF OTHERS AND STAY HOME.
♪ THE DEAL WITH THE LOCKED FRONT DOOR
***BERRY MUSIC STL RENTS SPACE FROM LACEFIELD MUSIC. THERFORE, IF YOU ARE COMING TO YOUR CLASS OUTSIDE OF LACEFILED BUSINESS HOURS, THE DOORS WILL BE LOCKED AND I WILL LET YOU IN A MINUTE BEFORE YOUR CLASS TIME OR AS I AM LETTING THE PRVIOUS STUDENT/ GROUP OUT. IT WILL BE BEST DURING WINTER MONTHS TO WAIT IN YOU CAR UNTIL ONLY A MINUTE BEFORE. I CANNOT LEAVE MY GROUP/PRIVATE COACHING SESSION TO LET YOU IN EARLIER. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PATIENCE. PLEASE NOTE THE HOURS OF OPERATION ON THE FRONT DOOR.
**IF YOU ARE WATING IN THE LOBBY AND SEE A FAMILY WATING TO COME IN, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET THEM IN☺
PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHIDLREN BANG ON THE GLASS WINDOWS OR DOORS.

♪ MAKEUP LESSONS
THERE ARE NO MAKEUP LESSONS
You are paying monthly installments based on your reserved group/ or private music coaching spot. If you CHOOSE to miss it due to conflict, sickness, sports, vacation, other; It is simply a lost lesson.
THIS IS ALSO THE CASE WITH LARGE DANCE STUDIOS, GYMNASTICS, MARTIAL ARTS, SPORTS TEAMS, ETC
**YOUR CHILD IS WELCOME TO COME TO A DIFFERENT CLASS THAT WEEK(SAME LEVEL GROUP) IF THEY HAVE A CONFLICT AND WANT TO STILL MAKE A CLASS. BE SURE TO ASK ME ABOUT THOSE TIMES/DAYS**
***Student will receive a group lesson plan each week so they make keep up with their practice and study.
Occasionally, as needed, I will make coaching videos to send out from time to time as added support for at home practice.
♪ ADDITIONAL FEES
* ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE EACH MAY- $30 PER STUDENT
* $30 late fee for monthly installments paid later than the 25th of each month.
* NGPT and/or NFMC fees for participation in the national assessments in April and May
* RCM EXAM FEES
* Recital Fees- $20/student per recital
* Shipping fees for out-of-state-families who have their recital and/or assessment awards mailed to them.
